My office wouldn't even let me open it!
Meanwhile, I'm drooling over Lee Mack in a pair of specs

Don't bother with that link - I've yikesed it. Mud wrestling was just the firstname... further down it was ... ... sexually explicit in a very distasteful way.
I'm definitely not a prude but there are limits, and this is supposed to be a family friendly place after all - sort of...

I clicked on the link and when I saw what came up I closed down my browser. I was so surprised that I didn't even think to go back and yikes the link. I do *not* want that kind of thing on my screen, thank you.

yes, sorry about that folks. I was half-awake when I clicked it.
Usually on h2g2 I don't click on links until there's a description of what is on the site.
Not sure who that person is though. They were ACEd a week ago and the only other conversation they had subscribed to was this one.

Oh yes, I liked him a lot in Being Human.
And Ben Barnes is in a new film version of Dorian Gray. Slurp.

That Aidan Turner has a bit of an aura of Daniel Day-Lewis. Is it true, BTW, that DDL has anorexia?

Ah Freddie. He's always welcome even though he's been... ahem... done to death on this thread!
Have I mentioned here how utterly in lurve I am with Sgt Hathaway from Lewis?

Talking of soccer - I can't believe that this isn't splashed right across the front and top and all over the BBC Home page.

The English women's team has got into the final of the European Championships. How did I find out? My husband had to tell me.
I only found the above link by going to the BBC HOme Page, clicking on Sport, and then in the sports section, scrolling right down till I found women's football.
This may be a match I might watch. It will be the second football match I've ever ever watched in my whole life. The other one was England vs Germany in 1966.

Sho - employed again! Posted Sep 11, 2009
it was Thursday night and... as expected the Germans won 6-2.
(it's the 5th time on the trot they've wone, 7th time over all)
And it's a desparate indictment of how womens' sport is viewed in the UK: The womens' cricket team are world champions, and the womens' footie team did extraordinarily well to get as far as they did.
In other news: now i'm terminally in lurve/lust with Ben Barnes

That Ben Barnes picture?
I think I'm going to have to read the archives of this thread properly. I've browsed through them before, but I'm sure there are some gems I have yet to discover. I think it was somewhere in this thread that I first discovered Les Dieux du Stade.
