Sho - employed again! Posted Apr 3, 2004
you know, when I said "do" I did mean a (very flirtatious) interview.
much as I would like to....
eek! did I say that out loud?
ok, so who else could we invite on the show?
*looks back at the thread*
well, we might nead a 5 year contract...

Mr Prophet (General Purpose Genre Guru) Posted Apr 3, 2004
You'd need to get the italics to bury this thread, you know. Otherwise all your would-be guests would either run a mile or be dragged away by their other halves!

Can you imagine the look of terror on the objects of desire when confronted by a sofa full of the thread??

heh heh heh
if only Michael Grade were reading this... we'd be signed up in a second.
Do you think they'd provide wardrobe? Wonderbras and leather trousers for all (well, Gwennie can have the vegan alternative)

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Apr 4, 2004
He can be the bodyguard at the door.
Stopping the handsomehunks getting out, and the rest of the women of a certain age getting in
I wanna join up too, of course, I have my own wonderbra and leather pants, thank you
I bags Nigel Harman {Baby Den} who is all over the cover of every tv mag in Great britain this week and he was on last night's Parkinson,
He says it's scary, this fame and suddenly being voted the sexiest man on tv.
He's also a "gay icon" or as his dad in Eastenders, Leslie Grantham calls him, "gay acorn" {I guess that's a reference to his height he was less tall than Parky and Rory Bremner, but he juggles as well, and that can't be bad.
Oh my, David Beckham has allegedly had an affair, according to the front page of the Sunday rag I buy for the poor Victoria.
Oh, and you Johnny Depp fans?
I was reading about Kate Moss yesterday, she's dumped the bloke she had a baby with - apparently she's never got over her split with the Depster, it was his decision to split up, he said it had "run its course" and Kate was devastated.
Anyone remember that bath-full of champagne incident when the maid in the hotel happened upon it, was so disgusted {she must have thought it was something else} and let it out.
Oh well, seems it all ended in tears, on Kate's part anyway 'cos just days later he was with Vanessa Paradis and just a couple of months later she was preggers....
Just let me know if you don't want me to tell you all the graphic gossip which I keep reading about in the down-market tabloids, won't you?
Oh and when it's my turn on the couch? I bags Shane from Westlife of course.

Sho - employed again! Posted Apr 4, 2004
I mised Parky.
Poor ol' Mossie!! But then, who could ever get over the Deppster, I ask myself? Not many. Vanessa has done a good job with him, but then... as -hubs says, not many men would kick Ms. Paradis out for eating biscuits either.
I don't believe the Beckham story... but then, who knows. It's always the quiet ones.
well, it's always the quiet ones I like to... er... noisy up a little. Becks is a prime target for aging ladies like me. Don't tell me he wasted a fling on a young thing. That would just confirm that he is more than a little !
And I'm now alone for a week. I have to iron, unfortunately, but will brighten it up with a and a (yep, we need one of those)
Is it time to campaign for a smiley yet?

Oh yes, I want a smiley! How should it look like? A smiley holding a hand in front of its forehead?

Teuchter Posted Apr 4, 2004
Phew - that was a long walk over from the 'What book are you reading thread' - especially carrying this mop and bucket.
Sho pointed me in this direction - but I don't know if I'm supposed to be cleaning up the or contributing to it - suppose I 'could' do both?
Right - where are you up to? Has anyone been watching the new series of ER as avidly as me? I prefer Carter without that beard.
*wanders over to the drooling wall and blu-taks up picture of Noah Wyle, sans facial furniture, in green scrubs. Gives floor a quick dicht with mop.

Sho - employed again! Posted Apr 4, 2004
ohhhh nice
I prefer him without the beard too, although I don't watch ER anymore.
Oh, welcome to the thread btw.
You'll be tested on the backlog....
OK, I gave up on the commentary to otC... not good, IMO.But then I was basically itching to watch the LOTR interviews. So I did.
Mmmmmmmmm Viggo I really really really want to marry him and have his babies. And Dominic Monoghan (sp?) even though I remember him from Hetty Wainthrop.
And now, -break. With Sharpe's Sword

Methos (one half of the HHH Management) Posted Apr 4, 2004
Welcome, Teuchter! I'd say - contribute to the !
And no, I'm not following ER but I still have the picture of Carter with beard in front of my eyes and I sure do prefer Carter without that beard.

Coniraya Posted Apr 4, 2004
Hi there Teuchter, nice to see you here, I didn't know you were a er, otherwise I would have pointed you in this direction ages ago.
I have never watched ER! George Clooney put me off, never liked him particularly, so I never got into the habit of seeing it even after he left.

Sho - employed again! Posted Apr 4, 2004
Teuchter likes to at the Beanster I think, Richard Sharpe certainly!
Ohhhhh I can watch Sharpe on Wednesday all in one go, I have Thursday off.
yippee

You can call me TC Posted Apr 5, 2004
Pictures of giggly ladies interviewing rows of dishy gents reminds me so much of the scene in the second Bridget Jones book where she interviews Colin Firth. I wonder if we'd behave like that.
And I'm dying to find out how they do the Colin Firth interview in the film, if Colin himself continues to play Bridget's boyfriend Mark.
Off to find pictures of Nigel Harman now...........
