Stormy Weather?

RB writes his own website?
Girls, girls, please invite your friends.
This is a girlies pj party!
The more the merrier, the more names & experiences we get to drool over!
Nice men, handsome men, meaty men, look-alike-drag-queens, men who love their mum, men who undress you with their eyes, men who are just BAD...and tell us about any ~drool~ worth scenes which have turned you on!
We have even admitted to letching over women here, but don't tell the boys that

Hi Floh!
We're having a PJ party... can't we have a letch of the week who has to wear PJs too.....
Bad boys: hmmmmmm Michael Hutchence... bet he "knew" a thing or two (I seem to remember he once listed among his hobbies "corrupting Kylie")
Can't think straight right now because I had a good dose of Angsty Daniel Jackson with my granola this morning, and need a little lie down.
Actually, I have to check out Robert Beltran's site.

Here's one to watch out for girls:
Damian Lewis who is in Band of Brothers tonight (BBC2 8.30). Saw him on Breakfast News and apart from having that all important twinkle, he is the most gloriously coppery redhead I've ever seen! He came across as being a really nice guy and handsome with it!
Gwennie, I think he does appreciate the recording I do for him, but he is quicker to point out what I forget to do! But that's kids for you! I have to record quite a bit on Channel 4 as he gets S4 in Wales, which is all Pobol-y-Cwm type stuff, as well as cable programmes.
Letchers anonymous {not!} ;-) Who's got je ne sais quoi
Sho - employed again! Posted Oct 5, 2001
Pobol-y-Cwm - that takes me back, along with Miri Mawyr (can't quite remember the spelling) and not forgetting Gus Honeybun's birthdays.
My Dad got so sick of recording me stuff, he bought me a decoder & dish!
Letchers anonymous {not!} ;-) Who's got je ne sais quoi
Researcher 179388 Posted Oct 5, 2001
We did think about a decoder, as there is already a dish on No1 son's house.
But the advantage of recording stuff is being able to watch my fave progs all over again. On the minus side, we can't talk to him for a day at a time whilst he is catching up!
It will be good see him tomorrow, though. We are having a family gathering on Sunday in honour of my Dad's 80th birthday and he said he would come home for that, which I think is rather lovely of him. When I was 21 I wouldn't have gone home for a boring gathering with uncles and aunts!

That programme I watched while I was taping "Stargate"...it's called "Would Like To Meet", I wish you could have seen the bloke the "hopeless case" got a date with at the end, after 4 weeks intensive training in body language...how to act like a female, how to appeal to a man's ego...{act womanly, funnily enough}...smile a lot...
Do I think this show is contrived?
I might have been convinced if the guy she got off with hadn't looked like an Italian stallion who drives a porsche.
If it's for real, I need Lowri Turner's phone number, quick.

Researcher 179388 Posted Oct 5, 2001
Even though we tape Stargate, we still watch it. Daft really, so I missed 'Would Like to Meet'.
Is the advice they receive any better than those dating books, such as The Rules?
Letchers anonymous {not!} ;-) Who's got je ne sais quoi
Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Oct 5, 2001
I read those Rules.
I'd say it's totally the opposite.
I remember in the Rules it states do NOT accept an offer of a date for a Friday night after Monday.
Are they KIDDING?
I haven't been asked out on a Friday night since.....
In the Rules it says do NOT make a man a meal.
Yet every man I talk to says "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach".
Something is very wrong here.
I love to cook and I'm alone.
I know I try too hard to please.
When I was reminiscing in here about "Moonlighting" and I went to watch a few episodes, "Dave" said to "Bert" to stay away from Agnes because she had offered to cook for him.
He said groceries were a womans way of worming their way into your affections so that they can stick you in the guts later.
{Or words to that effect}
So....do I stop cooking to impress a man?

I was at a lecture during my nursing training, by our eminent Consultant Surgeon on gastric ulcers.
He said that if you thought the way to a man's heart was through his stomach, you were aiming too high!
I have to admit to only glancing through the Rules in Waterstones!

I've finally got here, got my oestrogen primed, (it comes in a packet these days). Who are we lusting over tonight?
Letchers anonymous {not!} ;-) Who's got je ne sais quoi
Researcher 179388 Posted Oct 5, 2001
I have oestrogen and progestestrone in mine .
Sorry didn't mean to be childish, but you will find the teenager in you in this thread!
So, who saw Band of Brothers with my new rave, Damien Lewis?
I see Clive Owen is a possible for the next James Bond. Good choice, I'd say.

Saw his picture in the paper, a step forward I think, I must start watching more tele instead of videos. I've been lusting over Blackie Lawless tonight. I've got a taste in men I know

Gwennie Posted Oct 6, 2001
You're quite normal if you're in this thread Granny as there's quite a few of us that lust after alien sci-fi characters...
*Tries to look innocent as she hides the Klingon outfit that she's got her hubby as a Crimbo pressie*
And I'm the only one that likes Jeremy Paxman (one of the presenters on "News Night"). Beat that if you can!
Hey ladies! Guess what Gwennie bagged this week in her local market?
No! Not a nice young fireman, but I did find the first four videos from season one of Farscape and I only paid £10.00 for the lot! They still have the postcards with pictures of cast members and interviews with cast members at the end of each tape too!

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Oct 6, 2001
*faints with shock*
Oh my, it's a good job I wasn't shopping with you, or we'd have had to fight over those.
Well done, Gwennie!
*makes note to keep eyes peeled at local market*
I hear "Juicy" Lucy "Flawless" Lawless has been signed up for the X-Files new season.
Can't wait to see her in a power suit.
Hope she wears stockings, not tights, high heels & shows them off!
I'd love to see Robert Patrick's eyes pop out and lust after her!
Who are we letching after today?
Well, the England footie team are playing
Welcome Granny, you're not the only one with artificially-induced hormones.
I have the hormones I *never* had when I was a teenager.
What a pity I have no outlet other than WHSmith's magazine section and my tv.

Lucy will tower over everyone else! Poor old Scully will be falling off her heels, or need scaffolding!
You got a bargain there, Gwennie, well done

The England football team... nothing really letchworthy, but well done those guys!
Saw my droolworthy postman again today.... the kids were asking me why my chin was on the floor.
I'm letching MichaelShanks/DanielJackson's biceps tonight in the vid of the first ep of Season 5. Nothing else on TV, and I was disappointed that James Burke seems to have vanished
ho hum. Time to wrestle the gruesomes off Playhouse Disney I suppose....
Hi Granny!
Letchers anonymous {not!} ;-) Who's got je ne sais quoi
Gwennie Posted Oct 6, 2001
Footy teams don't do much for me at all (Worra bunch o' poofdahs!), but rugger teams...all those hunky chaps grappling with one another in the scrums, covered in mud, then ripping their shorts and having to change into replacements in the middle of the pitch...
*Shudders, sighs wistfully and drools a lot*
Not Postino Pat Sho, surely?!?!
Where we lived in NZ, the bin men used to run behind the rubbish truck, leaping onto the back to throw the sacks in as it was moving. They were sooooo fit! You should have seen the number of pathetically sad housewives who deliberately put their rubbish out late, just to be there at the right moment...Not that I sunk to that level of course...
*Clears her throat and blushes*
On the subject of gruesomes, I've just returned home from attending my local autistic support group's pool party with Chris. They group exclusively booked the leisure centre's pool for the evening, which had a water slide, wave machine and it even resembled a small beach! It was the first time I'd used this particular leisure centre and now Chris knows about it, I'm going to constantly be nagged to return!

Well done the England lads, but my, oh my, were those Greek lads droolworthy!
Constantinedes....
And their goalie!!!!
~wipes chin~
I've left Kylieon tv to come here, just for half an hour, then going off to
Roll on Monday night....need my Crichton fix...
I noticed that Farscape was still billed for Weds. night on sci-fi, so of course I tuned in & it was the very first ep. again!
I'm never gonna get sick of this series...
Just off topic, do any of you girls know of any couples who have got together thanks to h2g2?

Rugby forwards, ooooooooooooooooh!I had a real thing for Graham Price back in the 70's. Grandad is downstairs lusting over Kylie Minogue while I've just spent an hour drooling over Brian May. The way that guys fingers run up and down the fretboard..... Did anyone else see the Queen Tribute on the TV? It was full of hunks like Robert Plant, Gary Cheronne, Kirk Hammett and Nuno Bettencourt! While I'm dribbling, some of the fellas who play Aussie Rules are rather tasty!
