the perils of teetotalism

so many times have i seen tragic people on this site cut themselves off at the prime of their lives and, get this, vow to be *alcohol and drug free* for their whole lives! yeah!
this is a sorry state of affairs, especially when they suffix their desires with the assignation that 'being insane is much better'. here is a list of reasons why being insane is no substitue for drinking fun:
1) people will think you are a t**t
i think thats fairly comprehensive. a dedicated 'im mad, me' mentality is no camoflage for a weak character and minimal social skills. the fact is that a little dabbling is no bad thing, and joining in will do wonders for you, your number of friends, and your confidence. Dr Heavy says get [fiddlesticked] up.

on boredom: im going to a party in london on monday. i have a sneaking suspicion that the girl who invited me fancies me. but i think she only fancies me platonically. she certainly wont in any other way when she sees the beard im growing. i hope she does fancy me, but i also hope she doesnt. the does bit is purely egotistical. the doesnt bit is due to the fact that, much as i like her, i fancy her a lot less than certain other girls who i know. the trouble with that is that these other girls dont fancy me. ive also just had an invitation to write scripts for dawsons creek. strange, and also false. i could do it quite well however, dont you think?
either she does like me, or she just likes having an outsize pillow in bed next to her. yes, weve been to bed. three times. no sexual contact at all. just chat, and then sleep. (THIS IS NOT DUE TO IMPOTENCE ON MY BEHALF) how cool is that? well, its very odd. and who says women are hard to read?
hidden shallows, eh?

erm. life is fun. uni is rocking. having lots of cool mates is matetastic. i get to be centre of attention ALL THE TIME. and i also do stupid things when drunk.
before uni, i had never forgotten a thing id done after a night out. so far i appear to have forgotten doing pelvic thrusts on my knees on a dnacefloor, nearly crushing someone to death on the same floor, attempting to chat up 14 year old french tourists in my best french, kissing this girl i met (i swear i didnt, but the photo suggests otherwise) and knocking myself out on the wall of spmeones bedroom.
at least it keeps me off the streets eh? party on, rock dudes, for i have an essay to do.
