Guilt

I'm going to have to dump my girlfriend this evening to preserve my sanity. but no matter who sympathetically i can do it (hard, i know, but im going to give the sympathy dump a good go) i am going to feel guilty about it. its not really worth going out really is it?0

what a night

Tuesday night, i went to London's club metro. To see some bands who id barely heard of. in a small sweaty room full of the indie-est of indie kids. and it was great fun.
despite having to pay £2-80 for a pint of Groltsch in the porcupine near leicester square, i loved it.
£5 at the door got me in to see two bands.
the eighties matchbox b-line disaster. Best summed up as 'slipknot plays the strokes'. magic.
then, the liars, replete with gurning basist and wonderfully camp frontman. they also made garage music...but far far better than any strokes/white stripes malarkey. and they had bleepy bits too!

Hell in freezing over shocker!

I got me a girlfriend. How queer. How cool. If my life was a grpah, it would be making a phoenix-like ascent from the ashes since, like, August...(did you see what i did there: maths can be combined with cliche!)
She actually had to get her friend to ask me to ask her out cos i was being so lame now. and i probably wont see her for a bit cos she seems to be going somewhere for a half term. and i have to stand on tip toes to kiss her. but what the hell, eh?
