Ok, so maybe the hair leaves a lot to be desired, but they're really lovely, funny and intelligent. Trust me, I've interviewed them. They're great

I really desperately want to be a music journalist but right now I'm just a lowly fanzine writer. If you go to my page you can get the website address. But I arranged the whole King Adora thing myself (Hall Or Nothing must be SO sick of me by now) and now a few of my mates are quite friendly with KA.

Well, the most obvious comparison is the Pixies, but they also sound like a Suede/Idlewild/Supergrass hybrid. I just love them to bits, and even I don't really know why, although I've tried to explain it countless times.

Belle & Sebastian are amazing, joint 2nd with Suede in my "favourite bands ever" list (KA are obviously 1st). If you like B&S then the new Camera Obscura single '80s Fan' is heart-stoppingly sweet and lovely.
