They're just showing repeats at the moment...

how dare they! I pay money to watch programs I want me licence fee back as a repeat

I can happily watch repeats without noticing unless there is a real 'character' on that sticks in my memory. I am sure they will be back when the schedules settle down a bit. It is not my favourite time of the year for TV, too much sport for me!

Watching the new quiz, but struggling to work out the format, except at the end, but I am only really interested in testing my knowledge and recall so it doesn't matter. I suppose your stint will be after this series of Cash Trapped is finished?

Yes it's a new series so I watched the first quarter. I remembered what it was like to be standing there (which I'm trying to forget) so turned over and watched Pointless.

Watched "The Chase" for the first time.

The first contestant reminded me of you, GB. She was a woman who seemed to know everything. She clocked up 7,000 in the first round.

The other three contestants were quickly wiped out. Then she ended up on her own against the Chaser, got a 16-point lead, and pushed the Chaser back twice when he made a mistake and she knew the answer.

She still wasn't good enough and lost everything.

I'm looking forward to seeing how well you did, GB. It probably seems like a different world to you, but I'll be rooting for you, even though it is in your past.

My TV guide for Thursday 15th says: "Jeremy, Annie, Sarah and Sandeep hope that together they can beat the Chaser..."

Hi Ian is doing the exact same as you, checking through his TV listings. I am on the show as "Ann from Cleethorpes" and I don't think I am breaking any rules when I say my team mates were called Mick, Liam and Catharine (that did have a funny way of being spelt, and she noticed her board was incorrect so it was changed before we began filming) - bear in mind I may not have remembered the correct spelling it seems like a lifetime ago now. I was promised an email alerting me to the broadcast date with a fortnight's notice but we are still checking the TV listings anyway

I've come home to an email from The Chase: "Your show is due to transmit on: *FRIDAY 30th SEPTEMBER 2016*. In the event of any change we will endeavour to let you know as soon as possible."
