Legs are slow to heal. When I injured my leg falling down the front steps, it was still sore about 8 months later, but it did get better eventually.

interestingly, there is actually a specific human mutation which does give super dense bones.

Not that I'm saying you are one, or that you're a mutant (although we all know you are, really ), just thought it might be of interest

I chipped a bone in my thumb as a child by going head over heels overf the handlebars of my bike and landing on it. It was all bandaged up and I got to do my schoolwork (I was about 7) on a tape for a week, which was great!
One month later, when it had healed, I was playing football and the ball hit it and bent it backwards. Back to the hospital but no further injury was caused.
This is the same thumb that got bitten by a swan or a goose when I was four!
