This was a simple affair, a trolley load of kipple from a...popular supermarket chain...we had franfurters which didn't do too badly but this particular lad's bbq's aren't particularly noted for their culinary elegence.

Still a good time was had by all

Ah, now franks are OK, because they've a very low fat content. Best sliced in half, slapped on the hottest bit open-side down, and served with lots of American mustard and mayo.

Indeed they were - though I can't have either of the condiments due to a certain condition I have...Ketchup I can manage (just)

I think about the best bbq's I've had have nearly all been with the single shot, disposable tray jobbies (if you don't include ones where you just use it as a heat source and bung a wok or skillet straight onto the hot coals)

*tries to work out what condition would prevent you from eating mustard and mayo*

i like sausages...as long as they're nice ones, and cooked well...same goes for bacon...
and frankfurters, well, i like them microwaved and with pasta
