How Marmite Got Me A Date:


I met this guy at a drinks do before Christmas, and we'd exchanged a few emails the next day.

Then nothing.....

But it was Christmas hols so I didn't agonise too much.

He e-mailed again on Tuesday, we were e-chatting, he said "any New Years resolutions?"
I said "Yeah, I write a sort of diary each night: Things Wot Pisssed Me Orf today, plus a list of Things Wot Made Me Smile today, plus an occasional list of Spooky things that happened today"

And he said, definitely could do the first, but needed some examples of the third kind
So I said "Try putting a spoonful of Marmite on a plate, whack it with a spoon, and see what happens!"
And he said "Oh no! Put away the marmite and the spoons, and come out for a pizza with me tomorrow night!"


Easy

Wait a minute.. What does happen when you put Marmite on a plate and whack it with a spoon??

It turns white, eventually.

Oh.. Okay.

Does it enjoy it?

*continues whacking Marmite*
So far it has offered no opinion.

It's always a good guage of whether a stolen is the beginnings of beautiful things - the Marmite Test. Take them home/go back to theirs offer them toast and marmite ... if they turn tail and flea it was clearly never meant to be. Having said that, some people just require a little persuasion before they realise that Marmite is actually manna from Heaven, albeit brown and stodgy!

U(Nfortunately, I won't be attending this years winter meet as it co-incides with this year's Super Bowl, and if I went down to London for the meet on the Saturday, I'd not be back home before the Super Bowl started, so I decided to stay in Scotland.

I have to say that the Tiger stripe hair probably will be back at the beginning of the season, if I can get someone to do it for me here in Scotland. last time I had to go home to Sweden to have it done, cause the hair dressers I asked here didn't know what I meant.

Oh, and AGB, don't feel too bad about going to the bingo. I'm going to the gym and then after I'm done there, I'll spend the night with my friend, the tv...
