I have just thought - Fashion Cat and DD are sort of like Romeo and Juliet though hopefully with happier consequences One is an ACE the other an Angel!

Ah well, attempt 4 was a bit of a non starter. My friends in the flat decided to get drunk in front of the TV playing computer games, and I joined them. Before I knew it, it was 3am and far too late to go out

Sounds like a successful and enjoyable night in to me. A darn sight cheaper than a night out, and you don't have to worry about the whole sex thing. In fact, a little celibacy is often a boon in such a situation...
