Hello Babe,
Thought I'd drop by while I was about. (You know I actually came straight here....)
I was just answering an e-mail on a certain website where friends from school might get reunited.... and was mentioning H2G2.
I can't believe how much I've missed the place.
I especially missed your s

Hello you
How long this time? 2 years? A lot's happened. I lost my dear Fatherand my son's girlfriend lost a baby so it's been tough
Still waiting for a smiley and still never seen an aurora. But life would be terribly boring if we realised all our desires, what would we hope for, dream of?
You've been missed at the meets. The last one, barely attended, but I enjoyed going through Josephine's (yes, the "not tonight...") things in a museum and a lovely church visit and spending time with dear friends.

I know you lost you Dad, sad times. I hope you have come to terms and are rejoicing for the life you shared, rather than the loss you feel.
The guy that used to do the lights for the band was killed in an industrial accident just over a year ago, 36 years old, leaving 3 kids and his wife. I reasoned the next time I went to the church in Bulkington would be for their daughter's Christening - how wrong I was!
I don't know if you or Andrew used to watch Scrap Heap Challenge, but he was one of the members of the very successful "Meglomaniacs" team. There was a whole bunch of us went across a few weeks ago on the anniversary to take a wee dram at the grave and say a few words.

I thought only a couple of weeks ago that I was missing a meet-up! Maybe I'll pop in from time to time - a few times a week, rather than burning myself out and spending half my waking hours around here - moderation as they say....
I tried to phone you, just before Christmas but got no sence out of whoever it was that answered - maybe you've changed your number. Well - Happy Christmas anyway

I saw the Hull meet in your name and checked my diary, but I'm playing in Rugby on Saturday and back at Work Sunday, which would mean an unfeasible amount of driving to get up to Hull and back to work in one day.
I will try my hardest to get to the Nodnol meet - if there is a winter meet in January. It's been too long since you sat on my lap and had piccies taken
