I disagree about the quote followed by the header.

Congratulations Front Page author! (That picture looks great against blue goo skin)
Phew, I've just searched for every article containing the word "hieroglyph" and now I'm going to search for incorrectly-spelled ones

Actually there was one incorrectly spelled one, but I found it and fixed it before you did.

From the Neanderthal PR thread:

Have you seen my stone tools?
Some of them fit my hand perfectly too.

Where did these come from? Did you make them?
The scraper I held in the British Museum was shaped to fit into the palm of your hand, with a slot for your thumb on one side and a depression for the other fingers on the other side.

They're mine. I found them. There's a special place I like to visit to be alone, and they're all among the shingle. I bring them home, wash them and they decorate my garden. I've tried offering them to museums but they're not interested. Shame. My Dad always said I had enough to open my own museum,
That's only a small selection in the photos, I've seen Ray Mears going nuts over holding an arrow scraper, and I have loads of them. I keep the smaller ones in a Quality Street tin
Next meet we're together I'll bring you some, if you like

Are they made by humans, or just by chance cracking of the flints?

From the research I've done, and the ones I've seen in museums, I'd say they're fashioned by humans, but I'm no expert. The top one in picture one (laid across) you can see the thumb imprint, and the smoothness of years of use.

In the past when a researcher reached 100 solo Edited Entries, they got to write the text for the Front Page - that is, the small descriptions of the three featured new entries. I chose a "Queen Theme" for my front page, giving them all the titles of Queen songs.
If the eds don't suggest it, you might ask them discreetly are they going to do this for you.

They've already told me, I'd rather have a smiley (I've been campaigning for one for 5 years) I've even sent them the template.
I answered your email btw
