Scarborough Sprout, the Cambridge Cabbage, are all being passed around as ideas; i liked the idea of a Calafornia Cabbage, but maybe thats a bit far from Manchester UK? we are i think having a Winter Parsnip or Winter turnip but i'me not too sure wehre that is to be? Pea has also been considered but i'me not sure where yet? I shall i guess find out? but come Christmas i should be moving back down South, so i will be near enough to go to the London meet if there is one at christmas time and i am suitibally availible for it i could get used to going to all these meets, maybe i should write a travel log and go to them all over the country just for resurch purposes

If I had the money and the time I would probably become a "meet-head" - strolling around to meets all over the globe

Its strange you should mention strolling off all over the world to go to H2G2 meets, and becoming a "meet"-head (should that be "meat"-head ? ) as; next year (well after this December or January) I'me taking a year off as i haven't really got a clue what to do after this degree thinggy (my second ) so i might just have to do that as well as looking for a job i guess as that appears to be the trend for people when they finish University; unless i do a PhD maybe i can sort out my lonleyness next year as well

Hey don't put yourself down AGB.....what do you mean if you can get fixed up.....
The problem is nice people get exploited sometimes by other less nice people and it takes them along time to find each other. the thing is don't give up 2legs. If you look desperate you give out signals that put people off.You are such a nice guy ...let it shine out...If I was a few years younger I'd be over to manchester!!

It happens when you least expect it, too.
People kept telling me that, and I thought, yea....sure.
It did!
Good luck!

What makes you think you're alone?
(unless of course I'm nothing more than a mere figment of a deranged imagination that also fails to exist )

When the castle wall falls we must be strong with our loved ones and try as best as possible to do whatever we can whether it be donating blood or reassuring a friend.
Er, I hope that came out right. So tired, you see. Well, I don't suppose you do SEE, but all those hours of watching horrible news really gets to you after a while.
Er,

The right thing to say has a habit of only being thought up of at some absurd time in the morning.
So without further ado, I'd like us all to "pretend" that the following response is the one that I am using to reply to GB's last posting, and of course, I mean every word I say, because the words honestly just wouldn't come if I didn't mean them:
GB, though the truth of the matter is that I probably won't get to meet you in body until the next London h2g2 meet, do not think that you are alone, for I, and all of your friends and relatives (in death and in life), are with you in spirit at all times, wishing you the utmost happiness, health, love, and prosperity, for we love and will always love you, regardless of how many miles apart we may be. During those times when you feel alone, try to remember us, for we are constantly worrying about your well-being. And if for some reason this fails to work and you still feel alone, remember that we will go as far as to bend our spines back in two to do all we can to find some way to communicate with you, and laugh with you, and cry with you, and be constantly be there for you, because you are GB, and every single one of us adores you.
