BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Started conversation Nov 11, 2006
Well, I’ve been led to believe that I’m entitled to a room here, and, as I need somewhere to keep all these books, I think I’ll take advantage of the opportunity now. My arms are getting tired.
*
The room is cold and dark, lit only by a flickering fire in the corner. Little light streams through the slit window, but there’s a good view of the thoroughfare below. A crossbow leans against the wall.
On the large desk sit several drippy candles, a large collection of half-full mugs, some hefty tomes, and salt and pepper cellars. The rest of its surface is covered by pages of notes, with pens scattered artistically around.
Two walls are covered with bookshelves. Some of the books are rather battered; some have ominous-looking brown stains on their spines. There are also several towers of books piled around the floor.
Also on the floor, asleep, is a large wolf. This is Doobry the Thingite Wolf; but don’t worry, he’s perfectly harmless. At the minute.
The kettle balanced precariously over the fire appears to be boiling over. So why not come in and have a cup of tea? Just don’t knock over any of the books, or Doobry will be forced to disembowel you.

I am currently a young lady of 20 born in the tenth month who likes to keep pet cats...
which for some reason seem to go missing in the guild....

I'm sure it's nothing to do with Doobry. I'm more of a dog person myself I have to admit, although I have met some very nice cats.
Was it recently your birthday then? Have some belated .

thank-you,
I have had a few dogs in my life time,
most memorably my pet Alsation when I was but a child...
ah the fun of a dog that didn't like policemen...

Hehe.
Well, both my dogs have been Miniature Schnauzers, which are too cute and fluffy to really intimidate people much.
Of course, the postman won't deliver here any more because of Doobry. I told them to stop sending Thursites with my mail, but do they listen?
