This is a good day. For the first time in weeks I haven't had a headache , I've been laughing all day about this farce: http://politiken.dk/newsinenglish/article795693.ece , and now I somehow stumbled upon this.

Oh dear!

It's as good as our latest farce. The mayor of our capital has been posing with 6 tons of potatoes on the town square, saying that the municipality will not let people to starve in winter. Few days later a farmer made a statement saying that some people addressed him, wanting to RENT 6 tons of potatoes for some sort of advertising event. He found it stupid and sold them 6 tons of low quality potatoes.
Official sources have said that the municipality paid for the social-potatoes more than 2 times more than the farmer was paid. Someone made a good deal. And there are elections coming up in less than a month. Posters and campaigning on the streets are not allowed anymore. So potatoes.

Hmmm... Looks like another bit of ancient history... Back in a while... Just going to read the backlog in an attempt to remember why I'm subscribed to this thread...
