I read back in your journal entries... Saw the first few, and looked back at the older ones that explain stuff... My condolences on all the bad stuff some month or two ago. It's been a very difficult year. Lots of bad stuff gong on. My friend had said, back in August, that he felt something coming; a weird sense, like the universe was going to try to right itself with everything that had been going on. Now that I'm reading the Discworld novels, I'd have to sya that out A'Tuin somehow got flipped over, and he's trying to get back on his belly.

Anyway, just wanted to drop you a note to let you know -well, I'm not a guradian angel, so I'm not really watching, and I somehow think you know I'm here, so that would be redundant, but... well, anything you need...
I could even give you my e-mail address if you wanted to ramble at someone. I seem to be good as a sounding board.

Hey, I know you wouldn't be able to make it, being a continent and a half away, but a group of myself and many of my friends where I am (several of whom will be coming back into town for the hlidays) will be going out to a sort of dinner, just to celebrate the friendships we've still got... It has seemed ever necessary this year, as so many have lost so much lately. I invite you in spirit, as I can't really invite you in presence, to be there with us all....

Anyway, thought I should stop by and pay a visit. smiley - smiley
And hey,. how'd you do that cool groovy thing at the top, what with the "Read the Post" images? It's nice to be away from the Windows-ish looking BBC stuff. smiley - biggrin

See you on the Guide again soon... Get healthy!

Oh yeah - and I forgot to say a thank-you for as much as you've helped me out here on the Guide, in all the little ways. smiley - hug

And don't ever be afriad of tomorrow. Things can always get worse, it's true, but things can also always get better. And they often do. And even when you fall, you'll always have friends to pick you up, dust you off, and if necessary carry you off to the nearest hospital. smiley - winkeye

Just as a side note - I noticed you had posted something about a Holocaust survivor (I have a good memory for feelings, but a bad memory for details).. Try chatting with Walleye Priestess. Her grandmother, who raised her, is a Holocaust survivor. Was on a train bound for Auschwitz, actually, but was saved at just about the last moment.

smiley - cheerup I'm going for real now. smiley - winkeye

Hi MH, and thanks for comming here to visit and cheer me up smiley - hug (It worked by the way).

I wasn't too much on h2g2 lately, as Worked washed me over completely (does it work in english? it is a saying in hebrew, translated literaly smiley - erm) the second I got back from my sick leave (I'm still a bit sick, but I'm strong enough to handle life smiley - smiley).

It was weird, going out to the world after over 2 weeks at home, I had an overdose of people, it was nice.

About the "Read the post" thing, you can see the source to my page by using the testuserpage feature.

Dont tell me you don't know what it is... It is when you use "testuserpage" instead of the U number in the URL, so you get the source to the page http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/testuserpage126945 will show the source to my page.

Gor regular guide entries, use test instead of the A in the A123456 number - http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/test123456

BTW, If you want me to add/chang/remove links or content to what I wrote about you in my personal space, tell me and I'll do it smiley - smiley I'll also probably change it with time myself, as new links/stuff come.

Thanks for smiley - cheeruping me smiley - smiley

I think the phrase works... I knew what it meant, anyway, even if it was some instinctual thing...
So were you born and raised in Israel, and is hebrew your first language? I tend to be fascinated with people who were raised in other cultures, or whose first language is something other than English...

Yeah, I've heard of the TestUserPage thing... I used it once or twice, but sometimes it's plain confusing smiley - headhurts ..it does tend to confer a lot of information, and if you don;'t know that much GuideML, a lot of it is garbledygook...

I hope your'e feeling better now, more so, anyway. I was away for quite a bit smiley - blush class duties and brain-blitz call. smiley - laugh

What you have on your page about me is all good. Update as you wish; if nothing else, I'm intrigued as to how I'm read by others. I am always interested to find out how other people see me, and what in me they see. It is a more accurate reflection of myself than I could reach by any amounts of meditation or soul-searching. It tells me what's in me, more things than I could find myself.

Anyway, I'm going to try to whip through some more postings before my headache really starts acting up.... it's just lurking around on the right side of my head at the moment, debating whether or not to get worse. smiley - tongueout

Yap, I'm from Israel, completely, and a Hebrew speaker.

I think you would like what I think of you, but it's a long post, so I'll do it some other time. there's a sentance saying "You aren't what you think you are, nor what others think you are. You are what you think others think you are". abit confusing too, but true.

Yes, confusing though it may be, it is something that I find I ponder across. smiley - smiley

In a way, I suppose you could use it to shape yourself too... The only problem is that you also need to be aware of yourself, and it's a tough balance to achieve. Somewhere between having faith in yourself and being able to see what you really are.

OK, MH, here goes...

I think that youre a good person, and by good I mean moral and well disposed to people, a person that puts keeping other feeling good and comfortable in a highest priority.

Youre also quite open minded, liberal, imaginative and at least a bit romantic. I can tell that from several things but I'll only mention the cube game, the moomin and pokemon liking and the fact youre not bothered about your gender being specific. A lot of people don't care that people don't know their gender, and might prefare it, but only few won't mind if one person (say Amy) referes to them as male, and others (say me) refare to them as female.

I bet youre verry funny and interesting to know IRL (as you are online) and I get the unbased feeling youre a bit of a lonely person, but I don't know why I get that.

Youre verry responsible. Not in a way of getting your paperwork done, and making sure to get the right forms filled in trplets and handed in on time, no not that... youre responsible in the way of taking responsebility over what you think of as your domain, and of making sure everything is taken care of.

This is apperant by you guidework here, you take it verry seriously and to make sure to update your page, entries and conversations. Other people online want to keep in touch with you or be aided by you, and you feel responsible to not let them dows (and you want to keep in touch with them also of course). That's a great quality, but I think you shouldn't take it to extremes... but I don't think you are, so it's OK.

All in all, I think youre a wonderfull, loving spiritual person and I love having you as my friend.

Yours,

I think that's among the highest compliments I've ever been given. smiley - smiley

smiley - hug

It's also reassuring to know that someone thinks of me things that I think are true. Not everyone sees in me the same things. And I am ever aware that there are probably parts of myself I can't see that others do. (One friend once told me that I was very dramatic; I had no idea what she was talking about until I started noticing...)

I am sorry I haven't been on for so long, I don't know what's been keeping me. I think when the weather gets warmer around here, I'll be inclined to go biking and outside more often, which will probably make me inclined to go to my university labs to play with their software (nice image, motion, and sound-editing stuff) and also to use the nice, nice ethernet. (It involves going outside, and I like "home".) In the meantime, I've gotten better with e-mail. If you want my e-mail address, let me know... I'll be glad to post it for you. If they let me. I keep hearing strange rumours about that sort of thing. smiley - smiley

It is nice to see your face (ok, not the face, but the smiley) again.

Posting someone elses email address insn't allowed, but posting your own is no problem.

Also, there's a new rule smiley - smiley URL are now allowed in postings smiley - biggrin yes yes yes, it is the lates riots smiley - ok.

My email ita [email protected] so you can write me and I'll have your e-mail in your message.
This way if you don't feel completely comfortable with posting youe address you don't have to.
Everybody has my address already, and I have it on my personal space as well, so whoever wants it can use it. I just delete all the "The best free schoolgirl porn" junkmail when I get it, takes no ime at all.

It is also a good idea to talk to me through email, as I check mail more often then I log on h2g2.
Actually, I don't check mail, but the mail checks me (it pops up when it arrives).

Yours,

Hello! It's only been ages, but at least I've talked to you over e-mail since. smiley - smiley

Backlog got me.... I never knew I had this many unreplied postings..... Well, at least I'm getting to them....

I hope you're doing okay. We hear a lot about the goings-on in that part of the world, and I think we're all worried for everyone. It is my wish to the world that people could stop hurting each other. I hoep you're safe....

Drop me an e-mail, perhaps, or I will be back on relatively soon. Good news, though; I found a house, and soon I'll be getting DSL so I can check whenever and it won't take as long!
