There Goes The Other Boot

So, I got called at 7 this morning and asked to go to work for a meeting. In this meeting, I was told that I was being laid off.
I'm trying to stay positive, but it's a little hard today. I'll try again tomorrow.

The world lies before me

2009 is going to be a good year. I've decided this.
In order to insure this I am going to make two commitments to myself - call them resolutions if you will: I will approach each day with a positive attitude and I will avoid reacting - or refusing to react - out of fear.
I have great expectations and mean to see them fulfilled.

Why does it always come in twos?

This week I had a tumor and a friend removed it seems.
Sad thing is I'd take the former back if I had to in order to recover the latter.
