h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Dear all, I am trying to come up with a few idears to make the Musician's Guild a much more interesting place. The first is to try and get hold of "real" musicians and invite them to answer 20 questions put forward by Guild members. This could be ANY musician, as long as they earn their crust through their own performances. The second was not to limit the guild to cyberspace. If anyone performs on a regular basis, they could post a list of places and dates that other members could go to watch and listen. Lastly that could open up the possibilities of reviewing such events - or anything musical that you enjoy, a CD, an instrument, a band. Let me know what you think - this could be BIIIIIGGGGG. :) :) :) I've also started a conversation at: http://www.h2g2.com/F52434?thread=93578&post=771529 in an attempt to get some music oriented smilies added to the already comprehensive list. It would be very cool to talk to other RL musicians. I gigged for most of my adult life and took it very seriously. One doesn't have to be classical to be serious! Blues, rock, jazz, whatever. I love it all. I'd rather not get into any discussions about who-is-who's-favourite-band. Just real talk about music and playing music.
