Greetings, unknown Hikers! by Slash/Europe
I should introduce myself:
Born 1963, still alive.
Married for 3 years now, two daughters.
Winifred is 2 and 1/2 now, Vivika 3 months.
And there is my loving wife Astrid of 165 cm.
I hiked a lot across Europe in the mid of the 80s
of the last century. Some of my (partly very
personal) impressions will find their way to
The Guide.
I hope, for the benefit of those who
are to follow my tracks.
Try to hike from Bari / South Italy to Köln / West Germany
in less than 36 hours (distance is roughly 2000 km or 1250 mls)
and let me know, if you did it.
My pocket calculator wears a solid plastic cover
with the words "Don't Panic!" in large friendly
letters airbrushed on it, since it is a rather
complicated model by "Idaho Technicss" or something,
which always looked for me like the original HHGG as
DNA described it in the first book,
except my calculator had no "Don't Panic!" on it when
I purchased it. If I get to a scanner, I'll try
to put a picture of it on this page.
Thanks for all the ><> ><> ><> .
