Okay, this may be a total rookie question, but when there's a London meet, do other simultaneous meets spring up around the globe?

Here on the Left-coast, we're 8 hours behind London, but might sip mimosas with breakfast when London Researchers are enjoying ale at a pub.

There are usually a couple of random phone calls to unuspecting researchers, and there was once talk of taking a lap top for some live-streaming meet action, though this was rejected as the frankly ludicrous idea it turned out to be.

I think it might have been mu idea, which explains a lot.

Sounds like you folks'll have more fun than permitted under the laws of physics. I'll be working, but I try to remember to sneak a sip from my flask.

There's also this lady in California that's been known to send her self-portrait to meets and then complain about what happens to the self-portrait in the meet photos

I haven't had a call from a meet for quite a while--not since Cap'n Kebab was last at one of the Flat Cap and Muffler Club meets, I don't think... Don't think I've ever had one from a London meet, though with the way they've been shrinking, it may be manageable one of these times!
