All ready to go out and see...It is still quite light so I do not know if it will be very successful, but tomorrow it should be better.

Dear Dele.
well I am going to have another attempt this evening. Yesterday there was really far too much cloud over Boulogne to see anything, and I do think that the flat is a bit too far back - actually there is a big hotel in the way, for me to see the ISS going down.
I had the visit of three old gentlemen today. Very flattered I was. The eldest was four years older than myself, the next was my age and then the youngest was the age of my baby brother. Together our ages must have been over 300 years. !!!! We were able to carry on a perfectly interesting and rational conversation. so there is hope for us yet. !!
i was most flattered as the oldest member is a member of Comittee who run the block of flats. It was nice to have a happy talk with a lot of chaps who were still on the ball.
If it does not work tonight, I shall try and bully someone or get a taxi to drive K. and I to the highest cliff above Folkestone and then we shall see the whole orbit. Those people are so incredibly brave. Do they ever write about what it is like to be cooped up in a capsule.I believe my brother met one of the first astronauts. apparently a charming person.
Thank you again for the information of their route, and all the other answers to my many questions which I have reread this afternoon.
Go well,
Christiane. !!

If your weather is anything like mine, then you won't have seen much.
Don't worry there will be plenty of other opportunities.

Thanks Deke -
However I think that I am going to go on top of the highest hill here and just get my bearings right, I am determined to see it. However I did see the visitor landing though which sort of compensated. that is still miraculous. I wish I could see the whole scenario though of the vehicle coming in and the astronauts returning to the building.
It was very useful Gnoman's description of where the base is situated though. The sort of marshland was quite obvious last night.
Kind regards
Christiane.

It passed over mine at a quarter past eight last night. The sky was beautifully clear, and Mars was still hanging about. at least, I think it was he!
