A Witnessed Miracle

In Court, the other day, I Witnessed a Miracle.
This is the Truth and nothing but the Truth, (except for TP's initials which have been changed to protect the guilty).
At 9.30am (ish), in came TP (the accused), slowly and evidently painfully, on two crutches.
Getting up during the morning's questions and answers from and to His Honour the Judge was equally slow and equally evidently painfull. Indeed the Judge excused TP from going to the witness stand, allowing him to continue sitting at his allotted table.
At 12.30pm (ish) His Honour the Judge having weighed up all the evidence with a thoroughness as evident as TP's motability difficulties, made a swift and clear decision and pronounced; 'Guilty'.
At 12.30pm (ish) plus 2 seconds TP leapt up and exited the Court with alacrity. Indeed he left before the Judge.
At 12.30pm (ish) plus two minutes TP's friend from the public gallery popped into court, appropriated the crutches unobtrusively and swiftly left.
A couple of minutes later, we left too but in spite of having taken time to digest the swiftness and clarity of the finish of what had been a slow and convoluted matter, we were, and still are, still slightly stunned. In a good way.
