Weather isn't bad today. It's about -18 and sunny, but it's supposed to get to -4 tonight.
I'm having difficulty deciding what to make for supper, though. Ever have days like that?

Oh yeah! Not too often, but it happens!

The other day I roasted a hind quarter of venison with some vegetables. The boys absolutely loved it without hot sauce. That was a rarity for them. Usually they douse everything except their cereal in the stuff.
It's too late to take out a turkey for today, and I've just about had it with lamb lately.....
Maybe I'll just let people make their own. It would be interesting to see what they could come up with that was edible

Nobody died of food poisoning the other day The boys actually did themselves proud and made edible mac n cheese. (does green mean there is something in it that one shouldn't eat)
I'm just off work for the day (only half day today), and thinking of getting a sub and a bottle of Gibson's and going home to drown my urge for a cowboy.

Under "house-arrest" here, as we've had Alot of freezing rain!Closed down numerous highways & I'm assuming sidewalks aree just long skinny ice rinks. Just gotta deal with "cabin fever".

Yeah nothing like a good deep dark moist...like a devils food or one of my favouriteszucchini(I believe the term 'over there' is courgette-sp?) Well I'll be 'making-do' or getting by with a cream cheese icing-less cinn./sticky bun later...lots of that gooey caramelized sugar though!

That's gotta be rough Karen, but I'm glad that you do get back at all...& who knows, that situation could improve (& you'll be popping in every other day or something)! Let's keep our fingers crosseed!
