"Write a short biography and tell us something interesting or unusual about yourself."
Asking someone who’s 6ft 9 to write a “short” biography is verging on the “height-ist”, but I’m in a good mood today so I’ll let it pass.
I’m an EFL teacher working in Krakow, Poland, where I’ve been living since 1994.
Personal info? Height you have already... when I’m not working I spend my copious free time examining the undersides of pub tables in Krakow. As you can imagine, bar owners tend to look askance at this idiosyncratic behaviour, so in order to make it more publicly acceptable I have to drink large amounts of beer. It’s a tough job…
Making music on the computer is my other passion (it works pretty much like a recording studio except I don’t need to worry about things like microphone placement!) and my neighbours (I live in a small block of flats) can attest to the fact that I like the L-O-W notes.
Something unusual or interesting…hmmm. Four years ago I became an actor as our school produced an English course for Polish TV. The series, called “Ups and Downs” consists of 24 episodes and was a lot of fun to make, although I think it’s apparent when you watch it that very few of us are professional actors. Or any kind of actors at all.
Well, that’s a brief biography – other interesting and unusual information can be gleaned from police files across Europe for those of you with advanced hacking skills.
As evidence of my continuing mental deterioration, I'd like to point out that I was registered here previously as Researcher216186, but have not only forgotten my password, but also, apparently, the answer to my secret question. That is to say, not the answer per se, but however I wrote it on the form... Is there a virtual Home for the Bewildered in the vicinity?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
