Someone has nominated ME to be an Archangel, can you tell me what that entails, please? {although I could NEVER fill your shoes}.

It's not Zax, but instead a collective embodiment of all the Archangels.

Archangels are pretty much like Angels to the Angels. We do our best to keep things running smoothly and helping the new Saints.

Hi, Archangels.
I fluttered down in response to a request for help from wizard{U100445} in the forum "request your own GA here".
He had actually asked for the Patron Saint of Broken Hearts, but I didn't know if there was one, so I posted a message to him on his message centre.
I'm afraid my advice to him was not what he wanted to hear, and he has rejected me as his personal Guardian Angel.
As this was my very first attempt at finding a Guardee to look after, I am a little {well a lot, actually} dejected.
Now Survivor is finished {or Carry On Island as it degenerated to } I don't know what to do with myself....
Considering I was nominated for the post of Archangel, I am glad it went to Fashion Cat, I am nowhere near ready for such responsibility.
So, please would you send the Patron Saint of Broken Hearts to wizard, or failing that, create one! Thanks,

Sounds to me like he broke your heart, so go back there and tell him you are perfect for the job.

So far, the closest thing we have is Lisa, PS of Unrequited Love, and it appears wizard has found her already. It seems to me he needed more than just somebody to help him get into things, but a Saint tailored to his specific needs. Don't get to worried about it. Someday you may just find a researcher with Tantrum-related problems who you can help.

PS: If you need a list of patronages, don't forget to check out the eGroups database. It's got an (almost) complete list.

Firstly, I want to get this code of conduct, hi-tiquette entry in process. It's a good idea, and it should be entirely collaborative. Any thoughts?
After that, I don't know. We have to get a Sainting rota going, work out how we approach the PTB, the other Angels, what we do with GOD's page (personally, leaving it well alone works for me)...
There's basically a whole mess of stuff to work out. So, which do you wanna deal with first?

I think the GOD page is a positive thing.
