I am actually working now, I am on a conference call at the moment.

I also am at work. I have many mixed feelings about tonights game. I would rather see Sj win but that would have DET going to Co. If the Blues win we go to Dalas. I really don't know which I would rather see.

I'll be cheering San Jose on tonight because I'd rather that Dallas play them. If St. Louis wins, then we play Colorado. Frankly, I think Colorado would beat Dallas right now. Actually I think Colorado would beat Detroit as well. Also, San Jose would be tired from having to go 7 games, so I'd like to see them visit Dallas!

This conference call that I am on is DRAGGIN'!! I should have left at lunch and called in from home!

So as an ACE, what do you do? I see you are on this site a lot, but do you have specific things to do? This is a curious web site, that's for sure!

Well our official duties include saying Hi to all the new users, and answering questions. My personal duties are to get new friends. Even if they root for the Stars

Does being an ACE get you any perks?!?! What's your excuse for being online all day at work? This six hour (and still counting) call it going to make me slit my wrists pretty soon. And we have part 2 scheduled for Thursday. Yikes!

Yeah, well, being a Stars fan is considered to be a character flaw in some circles. It happens to the best of us, I guess. But cut me some slack, will 'ya?!? I mean, isn't being a Stars fan better than being a Cowboys fan?!!?!?

After reading the rest of this thread, I am a *huge* Avs fan, cheer on the Carolins Panthers, live in Denver Colorado and am also an ACE and a member of the Church of the True Brownie. Whew! I think that I've covered it all!

Why The Avs and The Panthers??? I mean, I am a NY Islanders fan and a Stars fan because I grew up in NY and I live in Texas now.

Yes, I get blonde jokes CONSTANTLY, thanks to e-mail. Sometimes I even forward them on unedited! Then again, sometimes I change "blonde" to "Texan" or "Avs fan".

Oooh, that's a tough spot to be in ... hitting your boss up for a raise. No matter how much you deserve one, let's face it, he/she doesn't want to hear it! Fortunately, I have never had to have that meeting with a boss. I have had to ask for transfers out of his/her group, which is insultiing enough, but I never complained about salary. Yes, showing up late would not look good if you want to squeeze more money out of your boss! Good luck with that.

I am an Avs fan because, well, I live here and a Carolina fan for two reasons: 1) It really annoys the guys I work with that I'm not a Denver Donkey's fan and 2) I think that they have the potential to be a great team in a couple of seasons. Just weird like that, I suppose.

Here's one: How does a blonde turn on the light after sex? She opens the car door. Of all the jokes, THAT'S what sticks in my mind! I have a terrible memory for jokes ... great with names and numbers, but awful with jokes. Go figure.

I hear 'ya about annoying the guys at work. I root against The Cowboys for the same reason! It's fun to start an arguement!

I need to search for the NHL game 2-nite. So far ESPN2 has a rerun of a 1993 playoff game, and regular ESPN has I don't know what on there but it ain't hockey!!

They tend to hide the games here, too. To tell the truth, I watch them (or at least the first period or two till I get home) on-line as often as on the tube. Check out http://www.nhl.com and go to Scoreboard. They've got a nifty screen that'll show you where shots are coming from. Not as exciting as the real thing, but it keeps you up-to-date on what's happening.

One of the blonde jokes that is permanently stuck in my head: What do you call four blondes in a row? A wind tunnel.

Well, don't rush home because of the game. It doesn't look like it's on ESPN or ESPN2 ...not yet anyways. ESPN has baseball and ESPN2 has a rerun of the 1993 playoff game between Toronto and The El Lay Kings. Perhaps they are killing time and it will be on later, I dunno. For now, I am swapping off between Seinfeld and QVC (a shopping channel). Now THERE'S a blonde stereotype for 'ya!!
