Let's put it this way: this evening I shall sit comfortably in front of the box, with a hot water bottle & feet up plus a few & watch Cor. St. then the DVD of Matrix 3 - i.e. total rest of arms (apart from taking the ciggy & drink up & down ) - I am being seriously nagged about giving up smoking &, I suppose, before I'm a ......... grandmother
Then before bed, having rested them, I shall do some more physio well it has to be done - oh my right shoulder was jabbed with cortizone & manipulated at the same time as the hand ops - I'm an all at once girl
You take care for now - speak soon - gotta go & make some egg sauce to have with the fish - personally I'd be happy with just a plate of sauce & tomato ketchup
And NO we're not having fish 'cos it's Friday - just happened to fancy it

If you go right now to that page in post 51 (above) click on the New Orleans/Baton Rouge radar dot, and then 'Long range loop' (click on the word LOOP)(requires Java), you can just see the eye of the hurricane at the far SW edge of the radar's range.
The scale down the left hand side of the map shows the colours that represent rainfall - lowest at the bottom, highest at the top. Whenever you see reds and purples on doppler radar, that means very heavy rain.
Well worth looking at - the eye is the dark bit - it is in our time (UTC = GMT), but their transmission is a bit behind the actual time it is now!!!

Oh the colours are red in certain parts. The weather can be so dangerous we should be thankful our weather isnt so vengeful.

Yep, quite so! I'm leaving the 'puter on (as long as my server lets me! - not on B/band yet!) & updating about every half hour. It's really bad, in a way, to be watching it in such a cold manner, when it means such misery & destruction, but, I'm afraid, that's what the world is like now!
It is interesting though!

I've not visited this site yet, but someone says it's again interesting - owned by a meteorologist (scientist) who forecasted Hurricane Katrina.
Yes, what can everyone expect - cutting down trees, more concrete (Cat Stevens - Where do the Children Play - listen to it sometime!), more emissions (ahem, wake up U.S.)
Gone for tea!

BB just a comment and then I'll unsub.
I have tried a time or two to get her off the weed. She is a heck of a fine lady and with the day to day problems she faces it would do her good to quit. Work on her. She's tough. But I don't want her to add to her problems.
Mo A friend of the s and other fine people.

Mofolo, I will mention it to her .My mum had smoked for 35+years and the dr told her to stop smoking as it was life threating .Her breathing was getting really bad,So the dr sent my mum to see a nurse and the nurse gave her patches and sweets to suck.Shes not smoked in over 2 months now ,fingers crossed she will not smoke again.

OK,OK,OK - next trip to the coast & I will really try to give up - will mention it to doc again (when I next seem him - last time he just gave me a telephone number!!)
Anyway, don't know if you are into history at all, but came across a pretty good little site about Nelson - remembernelson.com - learned a few things I didn't know + news page had an interesting little article about a debt repaid!!
Managed to sleep, unfortunately it was this afternoon!!! I think I get over-tired & then have problems.
Montoya won the Brazilian Grand Prix, Alonso 3rd - yaay - not that I really "support" any of them, just think it's time Michael Cobbler retired
Hi

this the site you on about<./>http://www.remembernelson.com</.>???
And yes i like history, i was really into the history line of the royal family etc
Hi
Shirps Posted Sep 25, 2005
Of course not, I don't take any comments badly - I read - decide if I'm happy - if I'm not then I'll shout or type in capitals - thereby a warning
I really must give up the weed, especially with diabetes (old hand at that - had it since I was 11) & a grandchild arriving in the near future!!
Willpower is a strange thing - some things you can be really strong about, but the weed is a strange substance & superstrong - I think it alters the balance of your brain chemicals, especially affecting the bit of brain that deals with decision making over smoking
Hi
Shirps Posted Sep 25, 2005
yep, that's the site. Interesting the royal line - we really haven't a "true" British monarchy at all!! Haven't had since before the Vikings - then we were all split into tribes.
That was a good shortened version

Yes and queen elizabeth the 1st, was the first queen of england. She didnt have any children so her cousins (mary queen of scots)son(James the 1st) became the king of both Scotland and England.
Hi

Yep that's right - the United Kingdom for the first time!! The Tudors & Stuarts are my favourite bits of history - I am no expert though!!!! I tend to read alot of historical fiction - you know good stories interlaced with true history.
James' son, Charles 1st, had his head lopped off by the authorities led by Oliver Cromwell. Charles was a pretty bad king & totally big-headed about himself - excuse the pun
I used to be a member of the English Civil War Society - although I am a Royalist at heart, I became a Parliamentarian!!! The costume was easier to make
James, Charles, Charles, James - always remember that order!!
