Welcome to H2G2! If you're in need of anything (help, information, a sense of direction, a towel, etc.) just talk to one of the ACEs (Assistant Community Editors), all of whom you can find at http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 . And if you'd like to meet any of the researchers who joined H2G2 this week, check out http://www.h2g2.com/A5752 , our newcomers welcome page

After having read at least three of your articles (and commenting on two of them) I have a better idea of what you mean. You *have* been busy! I'd like to bring to your attention the H2G2 Parade page at http://www.h2g2.com/A274835 . The idea here is that clubs around H2G2 can design their own floats (for example: http://www.h2g2.com/A284690 the H2G2 Smiley Float) and I'll post previews on the Parade page with links to the full float page like the Smiley one. If you wanted to design (or find someone else who could design) a float for your M2M2 pages, it might be good publicity for you.
Speaking of publicity, Gargleblaster is compiling a list of H2G2 clubs, and if you'd like M2M2 to be mentioned there, check out this link

Cheers - if you think of any other publicity methods do let me know. Do ACEs deal with that box on the front page? Is it possible to get in that Peter's Picks thing?
Hello, Tony!
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Apr 3, 2000
ACEs are volunteers and have no direct control, but we influence the people who do, especially the Community Editor (this is why ACE stands for Assistant Community Editor). Peta (not Peter, though I see why you get confused) is that community editor, and you can find her page at http://www.h2g2.com/u24
She's in charge of Peta's Picks and there's a link from the Peta's picks spot on the front page where you can go to tell her about your page.... it's at http://www.h2g2.com/A192791

I'm happy to link to the page - I've just mailed Tony about it. Thanks for showing Tony around Irving.

What are you in the mood for? Interesting articles can be found everyday on the front page, or you could search through the whole guide for a subject you like. Conversation forums like this one are on just about everyone's homepage. There's a virtual bar, the Forum & Firkin http://www.h2g2.com/A187508 , Presided over by Menza http://www.h2g2.com/U51490 , and there's a virtual coffee house called the Aroma Café http://www.h2g2.com/P202924 , which I am responsible for These are mostly just places to converse on random subjects. There are various clubs all over H2G2 for pretty much the same purpose.

*points to Tony* He says he's here, and that he doesn't want you talking about him in the third person! Oops, I'm doing it, too, aren't I
Seriously, though, Tony, was any of that what you meant when you asked "What's good here?"?
