Yeah it is warming up here nicely too...didn't even need to put a shirt on this morning....beginning to feel like i am back in SA.
Most definitely this one prattles on more than you....by far...you have no idea. She is lovely really but ...jeez....and she talks slowly so by the time she reaches the point of what she is trying to say i have forgotton what she is talking about....lol

~:*-Venus-*:~ Posted Aug 13, 2003
hehehehe...no chance of you forgetting what i say..the prob with me is catching what i say in the first place lol...lmao
Well the temperature has certainly risen now ..I thought of spending the rest of the day in tesco, they have air conditioning
...But i'm sure they would have chucked me out for loitering lol....

Hi Jen
Nice day in Tescos?...lol...
funnily enough i was talking about supermarkets the other day...the only place in SA where you really feel any sort of christmas spirit out shopping is the supermarkets. Completely useful piece of info for you there.
As it turned out it was not such a hot day after all..hey?...i hope this is not the tail end of it all though

Do they not really celebrate christmas in SA?..ooooh are you in for a treat here then, every bloody shop is filled with christmas "tack" by the end of september
Now i heard on TV tonight, we've got at least another week of this fine and sunny weather to come
Blimey!! cor blimey!
Nonametraveller Posted Aug 13, 2003
No they celebrate it...big time...it is just not the same. The weather is scorching for starters and the atmosphere in the malls is just not there. Maybe i am a bit cynical....but it is nothing like here.
Yes, if i am here i will definately spend a day in London...oxford street etc etc...love the xmas vibe up there....i wanna eat hot chestnuts in leicester sq too...or has it changed completely?
Yeah i heard the warmth was here until the end of the month at least....good news!!
Blimey!! cor blimey!
~:*-Venus-*:~ Posted Aug 13, 2003
erm i guess you havent been to leicester square for a while. Yep it has most definately changed. Its not safe to go there at night, well not alone We went there once at night and it was'nt nice
hmmmmmm i'm not sure my half dead garden would agree with you on the weather front lol...

Nonametraveller Posted Aug 13, 2003
Is that so....well that is a shame...actually now you mention it i think i went up there in 95 and was not that impressed then...couldn't park or anything....sigh....i went out with a girl who was dancing at the talk of The Town for a long time so i knew that whole area very well....had some brilliant times

~:*-Venus-*:~ Posted Aug 13, 2003

Nonametraveller Posted Aug 13, 2003
Oh well...got some good memories of it all at least...maybe i'll get up there at some stage to have a look....once again though i am not really interested in going backwards...so it is pretty much water off a ducks back to me...how is covent garden these days?
Me...i just went for it...didn't worry about a damn thing...did what i wanted when i wanted...had an absolute blast and got a lot of differant experiences under my belt...but you know what there is never enough time to do it all...i would of liked to play pro football...but i discovered wine and women...lol
Blimey!! cor blimey!
~:*-Venus-*:~ Posted Aug 13, 2003
I've never been to Covent Garden, it was on my list, but you know the story
hmmmmmm well it would have been difficult at the age of 5 to sneak of for ballet or piano lessons lol...plus the fact my folks did'nt pay me very well for being there!! lmao
Blimey!! cor blimey!
Nonametraveller Posted Aug 13, 2003

Do you have many clear memories of those days in your life...like 1 to 5?
Blimey!! cor blimey!
Nonametraveller Posted Aug 13, 2003
Way back...lots of memories...some of them a bit fuzzy but loads.
I remember my fifth birthday very well for example..
How come you only have memories of when you were four?
