Me, Myself, and I!
Hi, so you've been brave enough to try to get to know me? Hehe, well, here goes.
I'm a senior highschooler from Georgia, USA (where the Kudzu plants roam) and am hoping to get a college scholarship in soccer. I like jogging, climbing, reading, internetting, piano/keyboard, and raise Exotic poultry and 4 pet Emus as a hobby.
Your probably wondering why I picked the nickname Vorpal Tribble. It's a long story, but it's your fault your here ;-)
Vorpal devrives from the poem "The Jabberwocky" by Carroll Lewis, and means: All powerful, endestuctible, likely to knock your head off... you get the point. And in the old Monty Python movies there is a little cute creature called the "Vorpal Bunny" that came from the poem, and then the Dungeon and Dragon games made up a monster after the MP shows. But I'm a Trekkie (a.k.a. Star Trek fan) and so I be the Vorpal Tribble! I am also known as bathl-ghobbogh-yiH which is Klingonese for "The Tribble the battles with honor". And of course, a Tribble is a harmless little furry thing from Star Trek. I aquired the name because I am a pretty big guy, and I have been known to bump into people and send them across the room accidently, but I hate violence. So I am a deadyl/harmless thing, hence a Vorpal Tribble :-)
I started out this website as a sort of extension of a Science Fiction chatroom I have started, called: #RestaurantAtTheEndOfTheUniverse which is named after an establishment in Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy trilogy. We discuss Science Fiction books, movies, and tv shows and such, while our waiter, MarvinBot, serves you foods that you see on this menu. The room is on Undernet, and is best seen through mIRC.
