Hi there! I was just passing and I couldn't help wondering what 'politically incorrect food' actually was? Baby seal meat? Whale blubber?

Baby seals are not eaten, and neither is whale blubber. The blubber is stored until such time as export is allowed (which may be never).
So what remains is whale meat.

{snickering into her napkin} he's right, you know. But then, what doesn't taste like chicken? Parrot?

Arrgh, you're a quick one to be sure. It be true; parrot tastes not at all like chicken. Parrot tastes like tern, but usually bigger.

What doesn't taste like chicken? In my experience, beef, pork, lamb, rabbit, duck, venison, turkey, pigeon, horse.

chicken doesn't necessarily taste like chicken if you buy it from a certain chain of fast food "restaurant" specialising in "chicken".......
and anyway, whalemeat doesn't taste like chicken....it tastes like fishy beef, or steak soaked in cod liver oil .

Well, that DOES sound appetizing! I'll have to dash right out and pick up some whale meat, then. Wonder where I'll find THAT in south Florida.... A mission!
