Hmmm, then I must be suffering from
middle-aged emotion troubles .
Though not today. Today was swell.
I had a vacation day, and I cruised
the highways, st opping at pizza place
and shopping malls.
It's work that does me in.

are all girls crazy at this age? I mean *really* crazy? I mean, well, it's too hard to explain...it's just incredibly weird...

I would think that crazy girls would
be flocking to the Crazy Man Fan Club.
Or do you mean crazy in some other way?

Hmmmm....BOTH actually
If she knew I had a fan club, she would surely join...but what's my problem, I hear you say....it has to do with a good friend of mine, who she's known longer than me....ok, here's how it is: She knew him freshman year (we're all in the same grade; we're all juniors now (in HS)), and she kinda liked him, but she already had a bf...and erm...things got "complicated" between her and her bf... (my friend didn't get with her), and then I met her in one of my classes (he was there, they were friends at this point)..."stuff" happened...then she feel madly in love with me....and over time, I feel for her...then a few months later, she broke up with me (can't remember why...something to do with "emotional independence" or something), but I knew that she still had feelings for me...and to make a long story short...I think she still does (she said I'm the biggest sweetie in the whole world today, after I signed her yearbook...she also said I was "innocent", which according to her is cute, and she wants me to stay this way)...but my friend...erm...she went through a period of hating him (misunderstanding relating to the "stuff") and she signed his yearbook saying this:
"[his name]
It's a pity you never liked me, you don't know what you've missed out on.
[her name]
[her email adress]
<> I mean that in a good way. I love you."
I should put the whole story in a journal entry or two....
Oh, and she's moving to Arkansas at the end of June

Nah...she just needs to grow up a bit...she can be very sincere sometimes, it's just that she's muddled up....probably has to do with the fact that she was very broken hearted a couple of years ago concerning a couple of guys....

Fair Enough. She needs to grow up. I know I sound very heartless, but please let her go. Keep in touch with her, sure, but don't devote your heart to her. You both need the opportunity to mature, to have freedom, and to get through all that college stuff!!!
I think you'd both be happier if you try it....!???

I know you're right...
my intuition always seems to be right...and I sense something...that this was just the wrong time...but someday, after college and everything, I can't help but to think or sense...
Maybe she's meant to move to Arkansas...just as an opputunity for space......
in your opinion, D, what does it mean by "emotional independence" anyway, I keep on getting different answers from diffferent people......but I'm afraid to ask her (she says that she's been "emotionally dependent" on guys since freshman year)?

It sounded more like a rant than a tantrum,
Crazy Man. We all need to rant every once in a
while. A lot of big life-changes come all at
once, and it's best that you not try to go it
alone.
