Quite the name you've got there! Welcome to H2G2, the Earthbound Edition to the Guide, and possibly the friendlies place on the internet! I am what we call here an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) which means that I've volunteered to give a hello and a hand to the new researchers! If you need any help, ask me, and I'll do what I can. If you'd like to meet other ACEs (we're all friendly, and most of us are helpful) have a look at http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 , the ACE homepage! You'll find all sorts of links there, as well! There's a link off the front page where you can find other researchers who joined this week (click the link to the newcomer's page under Peta's Picks).
Oh, and have a fish

Good luck! As far as that rule about spitting, you can do whatever you want in the privacy of your own home, just don't spit on the site where people could slip and fall, or catch any diseases you may be carrying.

Right, very good advice. I will consider very carefully where, in the future, I spit. I thought that in an emergency situation, given a shortage of water or a vicious electric computer related fire, some swift spit-like response may be justified. Assuming that I was unable to smother it with humor or run away.
Seriously though, I got a 404 message from A159220 which, just by pure beginners bad luck was the first entry I tried to read!?

Damn. I meant to get to a new researcher and give them a pointless and unrelated link before an ACE got there. Now Irv's been here and you actually may be interested in this. Damn!

I'm sorry to have ruined your fun, Haze, but really I haven't been too good about ACEing recently, and I decided I had to ACE SOMEone last night!

Who should I tell about any errors or whatnot that I may come across? There is an unknown host an the link "sealed knot", A264520, sub-heading Linking External Websites. Any one with time to look at my entry for lugnuts, and let me know if it would be good for an approved entry.
hello DD,

Oh, right on. Sounds similar to Bocceball, a game played alot at my uncles since I was a kid, great fun except the woods are regular spheres.

Errors... hmmm. If you're talking about errors in an article, you could always put your corrections in the forums for the articles themselves. Occasionally the guide is updated and new information is added to existing entries, or sometimes Anna http://www.h2g2.com/U25 get's proactive about fixing mistakes in recent articles (she did a great job on mine). I suppose that if you wanted to refer any other kind of error... well, you have your pick of anyone on this page: http://www.h2g2.com/A132986 though the ACEs and Sub-Editors don't have the power to fix broken links, or correct existing entries. I usually go crying to Peta http://www.h2g2.com/U24 with any problems that I have.
