Dark Knight Rises

Ferrettbadger. The Renegade Master

Not wanting to leave any egregious spoilers on the main thread!

But I'm not even sure that the happy "Star Wars" ending most people seem to have settled for is the most satisfying. I mean reading it as the noble hero sacrifices himself to save other, whilst at the same time inspiring others to take on his mantle (with John obviously looking to become a new Batman or morel ikely Nightwing) seems in some way to me a more perfect a fitting end to the story. Especially if with Lucius scene the vague question of whether or not he made it left in the air.

I think I would midly have prefferred it if they had just shown that last scene with Alfred, but with his face lighting up (not actually showing Bruce and Selina) but I guess that was unlikely to happen.

One thing that has suprised me is the vehemnce with which people have argued against me (and sometimes got annoyed) when I have suggested there might be a different interpretation on the end!

Just a film and all that!
