i saw the shark on your page and decided to get one. But funnyfish has not posted since 2001 so i was wondering..did u get the code for the shark??

if so plz could i have it because me and a few other people are deperate for fish..

do u know if anyone else has fish, but different sorts??

If you want to to grab any code of my space (or anyone's space for that matter) there is a very simple method for doing so.

In the address bar of your web browser amend the URL of any h2g2 page with "test" minus the lettered article reference. So for instance.

To view the GuideML code for http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/A123456

change to:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/test123456.


The one exception to this rule is when you want to view someone's personal space, same basic idea but to see my page for instance instead you would change:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/U113478

to:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/testuserpage113478

When 'testing' any h2g2 article/guide entry or anyone's personal space, this will open up a diagnosis tool from which you can see the coding that constructs a page of personal space or guide entry and simply copy and paste the code you want either to an another guide Entry you are currently editing, or better yet, just to be safe from power cuts and other misshaps, straight into an open text file, from which you can edit and save and tinker to your heart's content.

I'm not sure who elese has pet fish.

As for different sorts of fish: all the goldfishbowl code does is to scroll a smiley across the screen horizontally. You can insert any smiley into the relevant part of the code and the effect would be the same.
