By the time we do get to the bank scene, it won't be something as simple as getting the Moon from the vault, will it?

I was banking on there being... something else... in there.

oh no no no no - I want to spin this out much more yet.

My idea was that ST2 ended on Arthur and X phoning back to the agency in a state of panic while being followed - I picture that event as happening way way way down the line - maybe they've uncovered the secret plot of The Cult and are being pursed by "Temple of Doom" style cultists (?)

Anyway at that point I was hoping to bring back in Leicester, Tim, Guy on a plot arc me and legion dreamt up long before ST3 really got going but right now I really want to devlop the parallel adventure that Arthur and X are having.
So far I think it's been great. There's no reason to stick with only having the Diamond in the vault at the safe - it coud be oh I dunno the last fragment of the map that reveals the location of the diamond (so when Von Trapp says he'll "have the diamond in his grasp, whathhe means is the ability to find it.) - a perfect excuse to get out of Switzerland and hotfoot it around the globe!

And the arc being Arthut/X have to be the middle of being chased (or similar) when Guy calls..?

S'about the size of it yeah - but I'm not realy interested in introducing that until much later on if I can possibly help it: basically after we've done enough with Von Trapp and the others. Y'know: "in case of writer's block, Pull cord!" besides in my mind anway I picture these events happening along side the events of ST2 (Rasputin, Stone henge etc.) and that lasted several weeks in Real Time if I paced it correctly so we have about the same amount of time to use in ST3 before I'd even consider using Guy's phone call to initiate that other arc of the story,

I imagined, and don't take this as gospel, but I'd imagined that whenever Von Trapp *does* get his hands on the Turqoise Moon (not necessarily at the bank) - he takes it back to The Cult (hithertoo we've only had glimpses of as Annabels true origin) and it is while X and Arthur try to infiltrate the Cult's Secret underground lair (the one Sfret was expelled from) *that's* when Guy calls - that's when the I dunno Temple Guards come marchign round the corner etc.

Cue massive Indianna Jones / James Bond.. homage / blatant piracy - and then....Meanwhile on the other side of the world Leicester...dum dum DUM!

the thing I got planned for leicester is purely to set up an ST4 if we ever do one - which is why I'm keeping it held back until the end cos it needs to come last for it to work.
