That's what happens when you have an odd childhood, I guess.....no gum trees indeed.....

Damn, where could we get some gum trees here...

And a couple of koalas......and a red kangaroo......

Ohh, I'd love to have some koalas and kangaroos... They can't be found even in the zoo...

*Considers turning truck around to lambast the folk at Helsinki zoo, but thinks better of it.*
How can they not have koalas & kangaroos? Other than that -a tad colder than the Australian outback every now and again- thing. That's no excuse, surely!

They don't have enough money for such animals... There aren't any elephants either, that's a shame...

What do they have? A cat and a couple of dogs? Any weevils?

I'm not sure about weevils... But they do have other animals - the felines section is pretty complete and then all sorts of others... It's just the most exotic ones they don't have... Their problem also probably is that the zoo is on an island so it's pretty difficult to expand...

On an island......dare I ask what sort of a marine section they have.......I must admit it's been several years since I've been to Melbourne zoo.....

The marine section is almost as good as nothing I'm afraid... Some nice sharks would be cool...

*looks out of the window*

*slams on the brakes, wrenches the wheel to the right, and throws the truck around the corner. The corner slides out, taking out a few signs, a tree or two and the odd pedestrian, but eventually they settle down on the road.*
Actually, there have been a couple of attacks by Great White sharks recently in Oz......

Because of the swimsuits?

I hope you know where you're going......and they weren't olympic swimmers, if that's what you mean....

Where I'm going? You're the one driving... I have no idea where we're going...

I just thought the sharks attacked them because they were wearing swimsuits... They don't eat people who don't... Or is that only in h2g2?
