Well, Charlie's about to explode. He doesn't know whether to laugh or sob hystericly and run to his mommie. Which is about where I'm at...

Well, I'm a week late, which has never happened before... I'm gonna go get one of those "super-accurate-know-now-turns-blue" sticks and keep my fingers crossed...

Does that usually work, isn't it a bit hard to hold the stick thingy with your fingers crossed.

I was just trying to relief some of the tension. I know it must be tough I've had three friends go through the same experience and only one had a chance like you of being with the father.

I'm sure Charlie will make a good daddy.

I'm not too worried about Charlie being a good daddy, I'm more concerned that I may be a bad mommie...

Oh honey, I'm sure you'll be a GREAT mommy.

A good starting point is:

1. Love it a lot
2. Keep it clean
3. Feed it
4. Love it a lot

I already do love it a lot... so that's good...

...and I am looking forward to the "new baby smell." Mmmm, new baby smell. And a nappy bag, and stuffed toys and little bunting clothes and hand knitted booties and hats... ohhhh...
