Sunderland, land of a lot of legends and home of the Venerable Bede. Technically I think my house is in Durham, not sure. Just put Houghton-le-Spring on the address. (It's all Wearside anyway)
Somwhere nice to go in Sunderland is Penshaw Monument. You can see it from the A19. It's only a ten minute drive from Durham! Can't wait till I see it again next week. Singapore is killing me.
Mike!
PS Don't forget the "Stadium of Light" (nice place, shame about the name)

You wouldn't be Greebo as in the most vicious, foul smelling, bad tempered cat in the whole of the Discworld? Hope you're not really like that!
Mike!

There are four loves in my life... chocolate, dohnuts, coffee, bacon and stotties (isn't that five, never mind).
Singapore kinda leaves a big hole in most of them. Bad coffee, no bacon or stotties and dribbly chocolate. Dohnuts are just expensive...
Can't wait till I go home next week and get proper food Stotties filled with ham and peas pudding, nice coffee *drool* thinking of food is making me hungry
Mike!
PS Greebo happens to be one of my favourite characters

Greebo also happens to be a TOMcat, too. There appears to be some gender confusion here.
Meanwhile, could you pass me one of those doughnuts with the pink frosting and 100's and 1000's on it? Thanks.

Me is not confused... me knows exactly what me is... ~grin~

skelly Posted Mar 6, 2000
This is confusing me now.... I believe Greebo, after having his morphic field interefered with by Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg can now turn into whatever he likes at will.... almost. So I guess he can be female if he likes!
Mike!
PS My brain hurts.

Bloody ****...!
I just came here after you'd posted to my page...and I don't believe it...
...I live in Houghton too...
...You know where the "Seven Sisters" are...? Big ring of trees?
Welcome Aboard
skelly Posted Mar 7, 2000
I've heard of the Seven Sisters, but have no idea where they are, having originally come from Fulwell (do you know where Roker Park was? It's near the city centre). I used to think it took ages to get to Chester-le-Street, never mind Durham.
I think we've been living in Philadelhpia for about a year and a half now, maybe two years. Can't remember....
Anyway, where are the Seven Sisters then?

Ahhhhh, *sigh* that helped. I wanna go home... oh look, I do go home, on Thursday at 2 in the morning. Dammit, why can't flights be at a reasonable time.
So you're THAT Greebo *cheesy grin* confusion ended.

GreeboTCat Posted Mar 7, 2000
Well sort of.. ~grin~... ohhhhhh... ~big grin~... me see's that you know some of the mystical arts... taught by the one and only Cheshire Cat... my mentor...
~Greebo frowns a little... ~... you should be careful with that cheshire grin you know... that could be dangerous if you use it without a directional field...
