Hi. Is this an anti-Thingite thread? Do you realize that right now, you're above the Campaign to rename Thuesday Thing on the busiest conversations list? That takes some doing.
Have you had any visits from Thingites, questioning your sanity?
I've noticed that they can be pretty formidable.
I never understood why they couldn't leave Thursday as it is, and maybe experiemnt with Jello sculptures, or sew quilts with mosaics of Michael Jackson's nose, or something really zany and pointless and *fun*.
But I didn't see anybody else brave enough to second me, so I drifted off to other things.

Thanks for the kind invitation, but I already belong to the Procrastinators' club, which means that I'll never get around to joining you. But I *would* like to hang around threads like this.
I'm much too lazy to learn new names for ther days of the week. That's why I like to stay with easy names like Thursday and Monday, etc.
The Thingites' system is hard to remember, or at least I've never gotten it right. Plus, the real world will never accept their changes.

Against? That sounds as if there's a war going on. I'm a man of peace. A lot of my friends are Thingites, but I regard their practices as incomprehensible. I started trying to argue them out of their strange ways many years ago. They have not responded to my arguments, sad to say, but I never stop hoping.
I'm not interested in attacking them or using force. The fat lady hasn't sung yet, so there is still a chance that reason will prevail.
