Good choice on your part, God. D.D. is an excellent candidate, despite the fact that he doesn't truly reside at h2g2 (so are you, Eomando), and is certainly deserving of your support.

As an omnipotent Being, have you considered that You have an infinite supply of support? I would like to suggest that You consider diverting a small percentage of that infinite supply toward a candidate unlike all the others. He is a true full-time resident of h2g2, and has the vision to see the threads that bind this community together in a way no other can (with the possible exception of Yourself).

I am, of course, talking about The Celery, with his running mate Ms. Dolores A. Webjello (campaign page at http://www.h2g2.com/A383267 )

Your name came up recently in a discussion with The Celery regarding possible candidates for Secretary of State. I know that The Celery regards Your ability to bridge the gap between various populations as a real plus in such a position. Such a position would also ease the way for You to accomplish great things in the temporal world (as I understand You often prefer not to excercise Your omnipotence there) to balance Your dominance in the spiritual world.

The Celery and Ms. Webjello obviously respect Your decisions whatever way You choose to go, but look forward to meeting You and discussing issues with You.

Seeing as you Redbeard paint a pretty picture with not only the Queen's English, but as well as the electronic paintbox. I was of the mind of...as by way of...and act of faith...

Well, I did have this idea of honouring Bruce with a lovely stone feature in the Municipal Park for all the hard, unpaid work he has done over the past year...

I might look favourably upon such a candidate if such a request came to fruition...

I just talked with The Celery and mentioned the project for the Municipal Park. Before I could even relate the rest of our conversation, he charged the campaign committee with finding a way of making it happen.

You see, The Celery has great respect for Bruce. The work he has done has helped make h2g2 a good place to live.

Members of the campaign are now searching for information regarding the details which might be on this feature, while others are searching for the proper stone to work.

This will take some time to do it right, but we'll be back in touch in a week or two to report on the progress.

Ever since those teenage days when I was unequivocally obliged to attend church by my organist mother, I have had a tendency to grow restive inside churches. Your Almightiness knows well enough I have muttered about the length of sermons.

I agree that a "memorial" should be done for Bruce. However, experience has taught me that, unless I interrogate the client, using my own imagination can result in a client's dissatisfaction with the result.

A simple stone might look too much like a grave marker, which will never do. Some kind of statuary would be more in order. If you could be more precise about what you envision by way of honouring Bruce, I will be glad to give full priority to fulfilling the commission. In fact, for a full endorsement of the Celery-Webjello 2000 ticket, I will maintain the statuary in my own web space and create the page for its display, with full access from the gallery at my Atelier.

Incidentally, I recently sent a new version of a GA logo to [email protected] but have had no acknowledgement. Was this second version also not acceptable?
