When did you go? (it wasn't because of the Apres Ski was it?)
I guess for particularly Tall people Skiing could be a bit more daunting - as you'd have further to fall .

Was that with Venture Scouts?
You really can't tell what Real Skiing is going to be like from a "dry slope" - check out my Entry on that well known Ski Resort Milton Keynes for a more "realistic" experience! (If you don't like snow or cold at all you are forgiven and may skip this class )

Not a so I may be wrong, but I suspect it may - skiing on a "Dry" slope is very similar to skiing on Ice - difficult. I have a bad right Knee - injured in a bizarre bowling accident involving stairs - I don't have much of a problem skiing because of it - SnowBoarding OTOH is a bugger.

Did you get a T-shirt for coming second in the ppc?
I got one for Third (well that and the fact that I pointed out a way of cheating on the chase to Paperclip... (Shazz I think))
