Sorry, folk, it seems somebody is sending a lot of junk from my yahoo-account and it isn't me

yahoo emails are notorious for being hijacked like that. I think there is a way to report, and disentangle your account. The same thing has happened to quite a few of my friends in the past who've used yahoo.



No harm done to me btw.

I got a Yahoo account as a decoy and it works. Lots of stuff in it including that are very poor and cannot afford clothes. Every now and then I'm told of a valuable package in customs I didn't order.

But at least my real mail is mostly left alone.

I think you will have to close it down though

I changed a few things, one of them being my password, and should be okay again

Will however be considering other possibilities also, for different reasons

Uch, same thing used to happen with my aol account. There'd be spam
in my inbox with my address on it. Changing passwords regularly helps.

I used to get a lot of spam in my spam boxes but I don't get so much as used to get and now. The type of spam I do get has changed from health products to financial services especially about debt management and loan repayments and loan insurance ppi scams.

My grandparents used to save up spam; just in case there was a third world war. When they departed the tins filled a skip up to the top.

Was fun living with them; they even had an inside toilet and I had my own gas mask. Was that a Freudian slip.
