There are many shopkeepers who are brilliant in the sense that they can keep knowledge of their entire inventory in their heads. Then computers come along, and they don't have to have such great memories any more.

multi-tasking isn't just the province of women.
Anyone who's worked in engineering will know you have to multi-task
a lot of the time.

Tests *also* seem to show that multitasking often means that you aren't doing *anything* well. You'd save time and get better quality if you focussed on one thing at a time and did it right. (I'm serious. That's what some of the studies have shown.)

Whatever floats your boat, Mistadrong. Scientific studies do a pretty good job of showing what large groups of people can do, on average. However, they don't mean that an individual can't do better.
