I'm sure you're right, Pierce, but I have heard of women who didn't know they were even pregnant until they were wheeled into the maternity ward.

How can you get pregnant just by being wheeled into a maternity ward.

It's unusual for nonpregnant women to be sent to the maternity ward, except as visitors for the pregnant women who are already there.

Actually there is a chair in 'Ye Old Trip to Jarusalem' Inn where if you sit on it you get pregnant.

Chairs rarely perform miracles, PAL. Neither do signs. 
My mother is 90. I doubt she would get pregnant again even if she sat on it for an hour.
