I once (in 1980's) wrote to the Guinness book of records, wanting to be entered as Animal! the worlds most modest superstar

I once planned to write a friendly letter to our national coach telling him I was no more available for our national team, but I never got around to actually doing it. Regrettable. I still fantasize about what he might have answered

I wrote that I'd got a fan-club of 21, (21 men going round the chemical firm I "worked" at, with animal is a superstar on their safety helmet)
I got a reply, which said that records are set on quantity not quality and the record I was going for would be very hard to categorise
