i liked "Dijon vu - the same mustard as before"
it reminded me of "deja menu" ...
and "deja revue - i've had this deja vu before..."

This is my favorite in that batch (well, I've seen it before in another thread)
"A midget fortune-teller who escapes from prison is a small medium at large.
I'm very impressed with the people who are able to create puns. But I'm a good appreciator.

Most girls worry about their looks - especially compared to the girls on magazine covers.
Maybe your daugther is unique (of course she is ) - then again maybe this link will do her good. It did my daugther - and me for that matter. I've always wanted white teeth.

thank you. a demonstration of all the great stuff i learnt on my last course
yes, my daughter is unique. and way prettier than the girl on the cover. both with and without the electronic makeover!
the girl on the cover is sweet too, mind you. i don't think she needs the makeover either. in fact she looks better without it, IMHO
i never compared myself to magazine covers. in particular not covers like the one in question . i mean why bother. the guys on the covers were completely out of my league anyway. both to me and my male friends

I agree
"Compare to" - I never bothered either. But it does have some kind of an impact when you yourself - and you know your gender opposite - are bombarded with those types of images day in and day out.
I look forward to see your skills in action on a recent photo of you.

Here's to a clear head (and ditto conscience ) in spite of
yesterday.
May you not have a doubleshift.

oh yes doubleshift on "andenpatricksdag" (hey if we can celebrate for two days x-mas, easter and widsun why not also two days for good old paddy, eh?)
i have decided to survive even this doubleshift though

Wise move
re mutiple-days'-celebration: There is always something to celebrate if you are tuned that way

No, never. You?
The closest was when I was in Romania and ate the same soup as the handicapped children. One of them dicovered a cock's head with beak and all and hurriedly 'burried' it beneath the sogging vegetables again. If one was picky and squeamish there wasn't a lot to eat.
One day we had fresh tomatoes with homemade mayo in one of the pedagogues' hotel room. The best meal for a fortnight.
