Things have really changed a lot areound here. It seems that most of my friends have abandonded h2g2.
Well, it's not like I've been around though is it. It kinda makes me angry that all my previous journal entries were erased.
I'm just drunk and rambling, nevermind.

-Neil thinks I need sleep. So do I, but I think I might benefit from not having it as well. I haven't slept in about 40 hours now, I don't know how much longer I will be awake, but I am wondring what I will learn from this (if anything).

argh, the laws of science be a harsh mistress

Why does everything have to be so complicated? Why is it that whenever a person likes someone, the other person almost never likes them back (at least not *that way*)? I don't think it's fair.
I met this guy the other day, he was nice and pretty cool, and even looked kind of like one of my favorite celebrity dream guys. He likes me a lot, too. But, I don't like him. He called me the night we met, which I think is kind of soon. He seems like he is looking for someone serious, and it feels like he likes me too much. I also suspect that he is making things up to have something in common w/me. We do already have things in common that I know aren't made up, but everytime I tell a story about something that happened to me, he has a similar one. I know that can really happen, but this just feels fishy.
Then there's this good friend of mine who I think is really cool and I like spending time w/him. I think that he likes me and would go out w/me in a second if I wanted. But, I don't like him *that way*. I think he knows this, but he likes me as a person and is content being just friends.
Then there's the guy I really like, but doesn't like me (you guessed it) *that way*. He used to, and I don't know why he doesn't anymore, and I never will. We are friends, and I enjoy being around him and talking to him. This is parallel to my relationship w/my friend, except that I never liked him *that way*.
What is it about people that makes them want what they can't have?
