Wow!

I was referenced as a contributor in the Super Heroes entry. They most of what I said about the Tick, even where I put Sea Urchin instead of Sewer Urchin. Boy is my face red.

But still, wow!

smiley - fish -Neil is happy for me.

Never Die

smiley - fish -Neil likes this song by Funeral Oration, a great punk band from the Netherlands.

Summers don't go slow
And so just before you know
So be it that you're walking
In the rain and on your own
The world's insane
You've got so much inside
But that just won't see the light
Won't see it
Still you're walking on
While your mind makes up a song
Feel you work too much
And you're always in a rush
In need for something else
Maybe something for yourself
You need fresh air to breathe
It's a thought you can not leave
Not before too soon
Your head is working up a tune
And you put it to a tape deck
Sing out all these lines
Shout it if you feel bad
And make it in a rhyme
Punk never die for I
Never die. No never die
When I'm home and close the door
I want to hear that song once more
That song that is about my life
And it makes me feel alright
I want to hear some energy
Could you give it loud to me
There is young kids on the stage
And they sure know how to play

Blister In the Sun

smiley - fish -Neil says he's having a good day! smiley - smiley

When I'm a'walking I strut my stuff, and I'm so strung out.
I'm high as a kite, I just might stop to check you out.

Let me go on, like I blister in the sun.
Let me go ong, big hands I know you're the one.

Body and beats, I stained my sheets, I don't even know why.
My girlfriend, she's at the end, she has started to cry.

Let me go on, like I blister in the sun.
Let me go on, big hands I know you're the one.

The Dream's Lost On Me

smiley - fish -Neil wants to know who originally did this song. Seriously, I really don't know.

I wake up laughin'
Thrown from a nightmare
I come down standin'
When I'm tossed in the air

Bright as Tiajuana
Like a dose of belladonna
I could cry, but I don't wanna
And, the dream's lost on me

I come out shootin'
When trouble comes knockin'
I greet bad news
By sendin' it walkin'

Half of you're just crazy
Relaxed, or lazy
I'm gonna keep my vision hazy
And the dream's lost on me

Cares are all buckshot and buffaloed
Every dark has an afterglow
I'm not afraid of what's down below
I keep my sights on the sky

Who did the cover that I have?

Here's a hint: It's my favorite band. smiley - smiley

The American Dream

smiley - fish -Neil wants to know who did this song.

Oh say can you see the star spangled banner flying
Can you see everyone holding hands and brightly smiling
Well, I see rioting and I see bodies in the streets in the future of the American dream.
I can see the American dream.
